Description

At JTMedical, we offer advanced cryotherapy using the CryoPen O®, 
a medical-grade device designed exclusively for use by trained medical practitioners. Cryotherapy is a safe, precise and minimally invasive treatment that uses extreme cold to target and destroy unwanted skin lesions with minimal discomfort and downtime.

 The CryoPen O® allows for highly controlled treatment, helping to preserve surrounding healthy tissue while effectively treating the lesion. Most treatments take only a few seconds, with the treated area naturally healing over the following days and weeks.

For cosmetic purposes, cryotherapy may be used to remove:

    • Common warts (Verruca vulgaris)
    • Plantar warts (Verruca plantaris)
    • Flat warts (Verruca plana)
    • Filiform warts
    • Periungual warts
    • Genital warts*
    • Skin tags
    • Cherry angiomas
    • Age spots

  • 1–3 mm (e.g. small skin tag) – £60, additional lesions £25 each
  • 4–6 mm (e.g. pea-sized lesion) – £75, additional lesions £30 each
  • 7–10 mm (e.g. pencil eraser size) – £90, additional lesions £40 each
  • 10 mm+ (e.g. larger lesions) – £100, additional lesions £45 each

Cryotherapy can be performed on most areas of the body, including the hands, feet, face, neck and intimate areas where clinically appropriate.
This service is available for moles only and provides an additional layer of reassurance before proceeding with any cosmetic treatment.

Any lesion of concern, atypical appearance, or lesion where there is uncertainty regarding its nature will require written confirmation from your GP or an appropriate healthcare professional confirming that the lesion is benign and suitable for cosmetic removal before treatment can proceed. This is to ensure patient safety and appropriate clinical governance.
