Terms and Conditions
Appointments
- Appointments can be scheduled through our online booking system, via text or email.
- Phone bookings are not available for record-keeping purposes.
- Confirmation is sent via email or text, and a reminder email is sent 24 hours before your appointment.
- If you do not receive a confirmation or reminder, please contact us immediately. We are not responsible for missed appointments due to unreceived reminders.
Arrival Times
- New Patients: Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete registration.
- Returning Clients: Arrive 5 minutes early to ensure your treatment starts on time.
Please note: While we strive to ensure that treatments are performed by the same practitioner, this cannot always be guaranteed.
Clinic Timeliness
We aim to run all appointments on schedule. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we appreciate your patience and will ensure you are seen as soon as possible.
Card Details & Payments
- Card details are required for all bookings and are securely stored via Stripe (one of the world’s largest payment providers).
- Your card information is protected and not visible to us.
Cancellations, No-Shows & Rescheduling
Our cancellation policy is in place to respect the time of our clinicians and other clients.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- If you need to reschedule, you must confirm an alternative date at the time of rescheduling.
- Repeated reschedules (2nd time) will result in a loss of the £50 deposit, and a new £50 deposit will be required to secure a future appointment.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations made within 48 hours and missed appointments (“no-shows”) will result in the loss of your £50 deposit.
- Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your treatment being rescheduled, and the £50 deposit will be forfeited.
By booking an appointment, you agree that we may charge the cancellation fee to your card. If funds are unavailable, we reserve the right to attempt to charge daily until the payment is received.
For courses of treatment, one session will be deducted from the remaining treatments if an appointment is missed.
Feeling Unwell?
If you are unwell, please do not attend your appointment as some treatments may be contraindicated if you have:
- A cold, fever, or infection (including cold sores or skin infections).
- Recently started a course of antibiotics or steroids.
If in doubt, please contact us at 07432 203 863. In some cases, your deposit may be lost at the discretion of the practitioner.
Clinic Appointment Changes
In rare cases, we may need to reschedule appointments due to emergencies or equipment issues. If this occurs, we will do our best to offer alternative times, but we are not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by changes.
Consultations
- Consultations are required for all new patients and those starting a new treatment plan.
- Consultations take place on a separate day from treatment to allow a cooling-off period for you to make an informed decision.
- In some cases, treatment may be performed the same day, except for prescription-only treatments (e.g., Botox).
- Consultation time: 30 minutes.
Refusal of Treatment
JT Medical Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse treatment if:
- A patient does not disclose medical conditions or changes that may affect treatment.
- The treatment is deemed unsuitable or unlikely to be successful.
- There is aggressive, rude, or inappropriate behavior—which may result in being asked to leave the premises, and, if necessary, the police may be contacted.
Treatments Requiring Prescriptions
Some treatments require a prescription.
- Prescriptions are non-transferable and can only be used by the named patient.
- If you cancel an appointment after a prescription has been issued, the booking fee is non-refundable.
- A cooling-off period follows the consultation to allow time to ensure you wish to proceed.
Comfort & Safety Policies
- No smoking is permitted inside the clinic.
- Noise levels should be kept to a minimum to maintain a relaxing environment.
Under-18s, Guests & Pets
- Patients must not bring children under 18 unless accompanied by another adult.
- Children cannot enter the treatment room for safety reasons.
- If you require a chaperone, please inform us in advance (space is limited in treatment rooms).
- Pets are not permitted due to health and safety regulations.
Medical Questionnaires & Confidentiality
- Patients must complete a medical questionnaire before treatment and update it when necessary.
- All personal and medical information is confidential and stored in accordance with ICO guidelines.
- We do not share patient data with third parties.
Payment Terms
- All treatments must be paid in advance or on the day of treatment.
- Accepted payment methods: Online, debit/credit cards, American Express, and cash.
- Cheques are not accepted.
Treatment Packages & Courses
- All courses/packages must be paid in full at the first appointment.
- Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Expired packages cannot be refunded or credited.
Aftercare
By proceeding with a treatment, you agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided.
- Aftercare instructions will be given verbally and in written form after treatment.
Patient Satisfaction & Complaints
We strive to provide high-quality service. If you are not satisfied, please:
- Notify us immediately in person, by phone, or in writing.
- Attend a review appointment to discuss your concerns.
- If required, a complaints policy is available upon request.
Feedback is appreciated via email, written letter, or Google Reviews.
Refund Policy
Treatment Refunds
- While we use expert techniques and premium products, results cannot be guaranteed, as they vary based on:
- Lifestyle, medical history, and age.
- The natural response of the body to treatment.
- Refunds will not be provided if the outcome does not meet expectations.
- We do not accept liability for economic loss, including loss of profit or indirect damages arising from treatments.
Product Refunds
- Opened products are non-refundable.
- Unopened, sealed products can be exchanged or refunded within 30 days if in saleable condition.
Pricing & Promotions
- Promotional offers cannot be combined unless specifically stated.
- Prices may change at any time without notice.
- In case of pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel the sale.
Gift Vouchers
- Non-redeemable for cash.
- Valid for 12-24 months from purchase.
- Can be used for treatments and products only.
- Any remaining balance will be added as credit to your account for future use.
